| Purpose Great Start Preschool was established as a service to the children and families of our community. It has grown from a sincere love for children and a desire to provide a safe, nurturing environment in which each child is able to maximize his/her learning potential. |
Schedule Great Start offers a two day or three day pre-school program. The program is open to any 3, 4 or 5 year old child. Your child must be 3 years old by June 1 prior to the beginning of the school year in order to enroll. Each class is carefully supervised by two teachers. Enrollment for each class is limited to 15 children. |
| Philosophy Your child is a unique, creative gift from God who is naturally motivated to make sense of his/her world. This is best accomplished through concrete, play-oriented interaction with children, adults, and materials. Great Start provides a loving, stimulating learning environment through which we are able to successfully meet the social, emotional, physical, creative, cognitive, and spiritual needs of your child. |

| Program Our program has been developed to offer each child a carefully supervised balance of child selected, and teacher directed activities. The use of activity and interest centers provide concrete, meaningful activities through which children learn science, math, health, social studies, language, and creative arts. These centers combined with literature, music, physical exercise, field trips, and Bible stories are intended to meet your child's total needs while providing a learning experience of lasting value. Each activity is designed to encourage self-esteem, confidence and promote social skills. |
